This video will help both Nagios users who want to use the Ansible scripts provided with XI 5.5+ and anyone else interested in implementing Ansible in their environment.

This video discusses how to set up your Ansible control machine in Linux environments along with key concepts.

To make the most of the Ansible playbooks included with Nagios XI 5.5+, your Linux environment will need two things: SSH and Python.

Commands for installing Ansible on CentOs 6 & 7:

sudo yum install epel-release -y
sudo yum install ansible -y

Commands for installing Ansible on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install software-properties-common
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ansible/ansible
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ansible -y
